CBA RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Erika Roca is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and quality assurance of new technologies and TA products, including websites, online trainings, and educational materials. Erika began working in the HIV/AIDS field in 2010 as a volunteer, completed her internship in Client Services at APLA Health in 2014, and joined the APLA Health team as Capacity Building Assistance Advisor in 2014. Ms. Roca received her Master’s in Public Health with an emphasis in HIV/AIDS and Community Health Education in 2015 and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).
She has extensive experience in providing capacity building services, including training and technical assistance to CBOs and health departments nationwide. Ms. Roca is a certified trainer in HIV Navigation Services, Personalized Cognitive Counseling, ARTAS, Sin Buscar Excusas/No Excuses, and HIV Testing in Nonclinical Settings.
