Vanessa Jacuinde has worked in the field of Public Health since 2007 and joined APLA in 2016 as a Linkage to Care Case Manager for HIV positive individuals. Prior to APLA, Vanessa worked for Planned Parenthood of Orange & San Bernardino Counties as a Health Center Manager & Administrator overseeing clinics and ensuring access to sexual & reproductive health services for diverse populations. She is passionate about health education and her experience has further motivated her to continue her work in the field of HIV and in reducing health disparities for communities. Ms. Jacuinde received her Master’s in Public Health from UCLA with a focus on community health. She currently works as the CBA Services Manager for Shared Action HD and is responsible for supervising the CBA advisors and coordinating CBA services and activities to Health Departments and other stakeholders.
