Joseph Holsinger began working in the field of HIV/AIDS in 2013 while completing an internship under APLA’s Director of Client Services. Soon after, Joseph graduated from Eastern Kentucky University earning a Master’s of Public Health with an emphasis on HIV/AIDS research and community health education. In 2014, Joseph obtained the position of Linkage to Care Case Manager at APLA responsible for linking newly HIV diagnosed individuals to medical care. In January of 2016 Joseph embarked on a new career path now working as a Capacity Building Assistance Advisor responsible for delivering an array of Capacity Building services to health departments nationwide.
