Bennett Reagan began working in the HIV/AIDS field in 2016 while interning at APLA Health. Bennett began his internship with client services, and then transitioned to the Community Based Research department of APLA Health. Bennett worked with the research department on a study exploring the experiences of those over the age of fifty living with HIV in Los Angeles County. At the culmination of the study, Bennett began working as a program assistant for the CBA Department, Shared Action HD, and soon after transitioned to his current role as a CBA Advisor. As a CBA Advisor Bennett is responsible for providing technical assistance, trainings, and information transfer to health departments across the country.
Prior to APLA Bennett received his Bachelors in Behavioral Health in 2016 from Boston University. Bennett minored in Public Health and focused his studies on social determinants of health and their influence on underserved communities. Bennett continues to be passionate about denaturalizing the belief that health and well-being are privileges reserved for those in power.
