Antonio Henry began working in the Public Health Field in 2017as an AmeriCorps with the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region. He performed disaster response, recovery, community disaster education and preparedness, and began implementation of the Measles and Rubella Initiative, a partnership that exists between the American Red Cross, the World Health Organization, and the CDC. After a long disaster season, Antonio transitioned to APLA Health as CBA Advisor to pursue his passion for addressing health disparities and inequities. As a CBA Advisor, he is responsible for technical assistance, training, and assistance of health departments.
Antonio has been an active member of the Armed Forces since 2010, currently serving as an Executive Officer for the 349thCombat Support Hospital. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2016 from the University of California, Los Angeles.
